There's not much to me. Of course I'm girl so that in itself makes me complicated, but let's face it; all girls are complicated. I didn't grow up wanting to be a photographer. If you asked me at the age nine why I was figure skating with socks on in my kitchen, I would have said an ice skater of course! Then in ninth graide, I would have said a writer.
It wasn't until the age of 19 I realized I wanted to spend the rest of my life with a camera glued in front of my face. It wasn't until I did my second wedding I realized my true love of photography is weddings.
I always wondered why weddings? When I look back I see it all so clearly. I am so in love with love. I am a romantice junkie. I read romance novels, watch chick flicks and sigh at just about every lovey dovey moment I see.
God meant for me to be a photographer. He meant for me to capture each tender moment as I see them unfold before me. He meant for me to capture love on one of the most important days of a couple's life and I adore each and every second of it.
He meant for me to tell a story.
And to capture stories that are just getting started.
What's your story?
There's always a story to be told. My favorite is where girl meets boy
and they fall passionately in love and the rest is history.
